The SharePoint 2010 Series: Join us for a montlhy series of presentations highlighting the new features and capabilities of SharePoint 2010. Our planned series begins with:   January - SharePoint 2010 and Business Intelligence February - SharePoint 2010 and Web Content Management     March   Session: 8:30 am - 9:45 am Description: SharePoint 2010 and Visio 2010   This session will consist of a preview of the new Visio 2010, its usability enhancements and then its integration points with MOSS:   Visio Services Capabilities: - The ability to publish live data linked diagrams from Visio through the MOSS 2010 server  - SharePoint Workflow Design within Visio - The capability of a user or Businesses Analyst to visually design and check for validity, MOSS workflows within Visio and then export the workflows to SharePoint Designer 2010 for “parameterization” by a SharePoint Developer.    Session: 10:00 am - 10:45 am Description: SharePoint Designer 2010   This session will consist of a preview of the new Designer 2010, its usability enhancements and then its integration points with MOSS.   Q & A and Networking: 10:45 am - 11:00 am
Presenter: Carson Shelly, Microsoft Visio SSP    Carson Shelly is a 20 year software industry veteran. The last 7 years have been at Microsoft where he has held a number of roles including Microsoft Consulting Services, Account Manager and most recently heading up the sales and marketing for the Visio product line over a seven state territory.     Presenter: Brett Woods, Microsoft SharePoint TS    Brett Woods has 15 plus years in technology. With a background in Software Architecture and Development he has spent the last 3 ½ years working as a SharePoint/Business Productivity Technical Specialist with Microsoft.
